Building on the service portfolio of the craft business Steuernagel & Lampert, managing director Jörg Held aimed to create an additional premium brand for special solutions and individual customer requests.

Through intensive conversations, we identified desired brand values, developed target group and competitor analyses and defined the strategic direction of communication. The subsequent naming process ultimately led to TEXTURWERK. The premium quality that characterizes every piece of Texturwerk work should be felt wordlessly in the brand's external image.

The logo design is inspired by traditional seals in a refined gold tone. This sense of value was also to be translated into touch: Fine stationery is embossed with a custom-made stamp, and the business cards are double-layered, heavily weighted and embossed for a pleasing tactile feel. For the vehicles, understated black as the main color expresses discretion and sets the brand apart from the industry-standard white.

The website, available in German and English, communicates with restraint. The reduced use of text is built around quotes from Jörg Held. The work, shown through appealing photography, speaks for itself. With the film placed at the top of the page, we dive directly into the atmosphere of passionate, artful craftsmanship. Accompanied by classical music, calm images make the care and dedication visible. Parallel to the shoot in the workshop, photos of employees and work details were taken, creating a holistic look across film and photography.

Awards

For the renowned "Painter of the Year" award, we developed the submission folder. Texturwerk won in the "Marketing" category in 2018 and was recognized in 2020 for the "Dom Römer Reconstruction".
